Folks, this is what Barbaresco’s all about: finesse, balance and an intense, only-from-Piedmont core. The Rocca family’s been quietly farming Grand Cru vineyards in the village of Barbaresco for over 4 generations (ever tasted Gaja in the 70’s? Yup, same grapes). Pietro Rocca and his sons seek to make *complete* wines; they’re more focused on representing place than any passing style or fashion. This means: native yeasts, deep macerations, and molto tempo to develop in large casks of Austrian origin. Hands down one of the best Barbarescos on the market. Now? Go braise something!
