So this bottle may *look* like an NFT that can only be bought with crypto-currency... but this new-school bottle actually contains one of our favorite *old-school* Napa Cabs of late! Diamond Mtn's one of Napa's most special spots, sitting at a much higher elevation than the rest of Napa, with soil that's riddled with volcanic glass. Within that sexypants zipcode sits a tiiiiiny, east-facing acre of 40-year-old fruit: the Mader Vineyard, and it's here that our homie Jason Lefler sources the fruit for his "Untrue." The palate's a Surround Sound of ripe, dense, softly textured blue fruit, sans punishing tannins or self-absorbing oak. Balanced, concentrated and pure, ready for pop-and-pour opulence and cellar-worthiness both. (Only 70 cases made!)
