Juhfarking kidding me? This was apparently the first Juhfark ever imported into the US! Just when one thinks she has a modicum of wine knowledge, along comes the intrepid importer Eric Danch to shake us up again. In Somló, the most important grape is Juhfark (named after the shape of a sheeps tail), which is eminently suited to the region's ripping volcanic soils. If you like Chenin blanc, or anything mineral-driven and just plain amazing, this is a must-try. It’s malic and custardy, waxy and woolly, and pretty much as much fun as you’re going to have while fully clothed this year. (Note: clothes not required, however, for Juhfarking.)
