It's rare to find a California Cabernet Sauvignon that counts cedar, herbs, graphite, and cassis as core aromas. This is a time capsule Cab, the kind of thing people made in the 1970’s, before scores made people pump their Cabs up with hot air and late pick dates. Traditional, Bordelais-like stuff, this might be the best Hobo Cab we’ve tasted since we began working with it over a decade ago. Winemaker Kenny Likitprakong has made a wine tastes great now and will age gracefully for a decade. Isn't that what Cabernet is supposed to do?
