We broke the news last week... the time to start planning for the holiday season is upon us. That's right - as soon as your summer wardrobe has found its place in your dresser drawers, you'll have to start clearing room to make way for more cold weather-appropriate pieces. And just like you, we have our own late summer cleaning to do as we turn our attention to the holidays and the new wines that are slated to arrive later in the fall. This Thursday-Saturday at Solano, we're turning the bar into an open house of sorts - 3 days of tastings, with 35+ bottles open, all offered at an already discounted price on bottle one. We'll have a bit of everything open, from some of our favorite value wines from here and abroad, to cru Burgundy, Barolo, and Barberesco; from classically tuned staples to esoteric bottles from experimental newcomers.
