Let's test our knowledge of this famous grape by trying 4 different Pinot Noirs from 4 different continents. (Obviously Pinots can differ greatly within the same region, but we've tried to pick representative samples.) We’ll be tasting from:
California - fruit-forward, juicy, soft oak
Burgundy - mushroom, forest-floor, bright acidity and silky tannins
New Zealand - plum, spice, vanilla oak and nutmeg
Chile - low tannins, strawberries and cherries with higher alc.
