Join us for a tasting that showcases the depth, diversity, and legacy of Umbria through the wines of the Goretti family, a historic, family-run estate now in its fourth generation. Sisters Sara and Giulia Goretti carry on a winemaking tradition that dates back to the early 19th century, overseeing two distinct properties: 18 hectares in Montefalco and 34 hectares in Pila, in the Colli Perugini hills. These two sites, with their unique elevations and soil compositions—gravel, sand, and clay in Montefalco and calcareous clay in Pila—allow the Gorettis to craft wines that are not only expressive of their terroir but also beautifully complex and balanced.
Their Montefalco estate is known for producing structured, age-worthy reds like Sagrantino and Montefalco Rosso, where warm summers and cooler elevations result in wines with depth and elegance. Meanwhile, their Pila estate excels in approachable Sangiovese and standout whites like Grechetto and the highly acclaimed Trebbiano Spoletino, which deliver crisp, aromatic profiles with layers of minerality. Committed to sustainable viticulture, the Goretti family blends centuries of tradition with a forward-thinking approach that prioritizes environmental stewardship and vineyard health. Don’t miss the chance to taste the full expression of Umbria in a single glass!
