We're celebrating Women's History Month with a continuing spotlight on some of our absolute favorite women winemakers! Laura Brennan Bissell, owner and winemaker of Inconnu and Aitia Wines, is a visionary whose work reflects both the beauty and challenges of the unique Columbia Gorge AVA—a forty mile area that straddles the Columbia River in both Oregon and Washington.
Laura is focused on regenerative farming, organic viticulture and a drive to showcase the terroir of the ancient volcanic soils of the region. Everything she makes under the Aitia label comes from dry farmed, own-rooted, organic, no-till vineyards. We are so happy to host Laura, pouring four of her wines from both Aitia and Inconnu!
