This Jurtschitsch is some cool schitsch indeed: it’s amazing that the oldest winery in Austria’s entire Kamptal region is *also* its trailblazing leader in natural winemaking. Alwin and his wife Stef farm all organic/biodynamic, and don’t use copper sulfate in the vineyards (which some organic producers do). This is top-quality Grüner: textured & weighty on the one hand, shot through with a white-flowered, white-peppery, grapefruit-pithy, wet-rock mineral verve on the other. So serious for the price!
