After tasting about 100 tank samples of Sancerre when last in France, we almost swore off the entire appellation for good. Christian Thirot-Fournier however has restored our faith. Lime zest, wet stone, grapefruit, greenish scents… Sancerre! This is a bottle that reminds us why this little spot is known for the most beautifully pure expression of Sauvignon Blanc in the world.
