If you want a huge wine full of brain-busting mountain fruit, this is not the Droid you're looking for! One of the greatest Cab producers in Californian history (it's often called the "Chateau Latour of California"), Mayacamas is famed for making Napa wines in the style that *made* Napa Napa, back in the 70's. Year in, year out, these are amazing, age-worthy wines. Think cassis, backberry & cherry on the palate, with undertones of tobacco, graphite, and leather, with a long finish that's only going to lengthen with more time in the bottle. (Still a baby, give this some air time to let it really come to life!)
