We've tasted somewhere upwards of 100+ 2022 domestic rosés already this year, and so far Unti's strikes us as best in class. (When I let them know that, Unti's ordinarily humble winemaker Jason Valenti wrote me, “I'm not surprised. The 2022 is definitely the best rosé I've ever made, and it's a real tribute to the work our crew does in the vineyards.”)
This is as close to Bandol as Californian rosé gets: serious, structured, juicy, and delicious, with notes of stone fruit, citrus zest, and herbs. Ready to go now, but built to last!
