I'm telling you, this wine is almost as cool as the winemaker herself. Kristie Tacey went from a microbiologist working on the human genome project to making wine in tiny spots around the Bay Area starting in 2009. Her wines are fun and serious, playful but commanding respect. We blinded this, and not one of us could come up with the cuvee. An unheard of blend of 2020 Riesling, 2019 Trousseau, and 2019 Mourvedre. Say Wha??? We all agreed that we needed to bring this to you, but it was virtually sold out so...we grabbed everything we could. A light red, you'll want to serve this chilled. Pack a picnic basket with all of your favorites, a wine key (no screwcap here), and grab a spot in the sun to enjoy the constantly evolving tropical fruit married with a Thanksgiving table. Guava, Cranberries, Hibiscus, Strawberries, Clove, Cinnamon, and Cedar. Bright acid with a depth of fruit and intrigue.
