This is a rising star winemaker’s (Cody Rasmussen, who trained at Bedrock) first confrontation with old-vine greatness (the 130 year old, head trained & dry farmed vineyard that managed to survive the suburbanization of Contra Costa County), and boy has he acquitted himself! This is red fruit at its most exuberant -- think raspberries, strawberries, and some minty herbal notes atop a sense of deep black earth. Get it while we have it!
