On the eastern edge of Friuli winemaker Franco Terpin has been framing organically and biodynamically since 1994. All of his estate vineyards are planted on sandstone soils giving his wines mind melting delicate texture. With his less than traditional farming methods he planted Bordeaux varieties to make the most medium-bodied and mouth-watering classic blend with a wild side twist. I normally do not buy the same wine twice, but this here is too much fun to bring to spontaneous gatherings were the food pairing is no agenda because it goes with literally anything – or nothing!
