Is Marcus Goodfellow the most aptly named winemaker we know? I mean, we suppose it could be *more* on the nose: Marcus Delightbringer, or Marcus Juiceslayer, or even Marcus Freakyvalue. But hot damn, does he consistently deliver one of the best darn values in Willamette Pinot. A combo of four of his favorite single vineyard sites (Durant, Fir Crest, Whistling Ridge, and Bishops Creek), it’s rich, earthy, and tangy with the sort of forest-floor notes that set a great Oregon Pinot apart. (And we know this wine makes you jolly, but don’t sing that song at him, okay?)
