Here’s a fun one: a unique, crisp rosé from the Atlantic coast of France (Fiefs Vendéens is located above Bordeaux, south of Nantes), which has become our stand-out summer quaffer. A blend of Loire red grapes including Pinot Noir, Cabernet Franc, and Negrette makes for a pink loaded with ruby grapefruit, earth-dusted cherry, and the barest hint of pepper. An all year-rounder, this is as fun to drink in Indian summer as it is to drink with your winter bouillabaise! (Fun fact: the cool bottle is an exact replica of an ancient clay vessel found on the property.)
