Hungarian 'Gemischter Satz' from a family run, biodynamic farm?! Sign me up! Királyleányka, Rajnai Rizling, and Chardonnay along with some Olaszrizling can all be found in Geza and Ibolya's garden (or "Kert" locally) situated in Mohacs, Southern Hungary. The Rajnai and Olaszrisling spend a few days on the skins in open top vats, while the Kiralyleanyka and Chardonnay are hand destemmed and pressed into oak casks. Complex and textural, this unfiltered wine has a pronounced green herbaceous-ness and a slightly bitter, citrus peel edge.
