The name may be a play on the French ”Beware of Dog” sign, but fear not: natural winemaker Nicholas Reau's wild Chenin is the very opposite of a junkyard beast! This puppy may be wild, but it's as approachable as it is compelling. Floral aromas lead to a palate of rich stone fruits, honeycomb, and a mineral, slightly saline note. Even if you didn't first discover this at a natural wine shop on Paris' Left Bank like we did, we suspect it may induce similar levels of nostalgia, delight, and feral dog howls.
