It's all Greek to Us @ Solano Cellars Friday, April 11th

"It's all Greek to us"... or is it? After all, Greece is considered the cradle of civilization, with hundreds of thousands of years of recorded history, the rich cultural influence of the Aegeans, Romans, Ottomans, and more, and is flanked by not one, not two, but FOUR different seas, each affecting the diversity of microclimates across Greece's many islands. So while that salty, crisp, mineral white you had on vacation in Santorini might have a special place in your heart, Greek wine is so much more than that (though we, too, love imagining ourselves by the sea with a cold glass of Assyrtiko...).

On Friday, we'll explore the islands of Greece and the variety of wines they produce, from Attica to Crete, Peloponnese to Thrace (and yes, from Santorini, too!).
