All fruit for Horse & Plow is organically farmed from non-GMO sites, then fermented without synthetic nutrients or additives. The resulting wines are classic representations of Sonoma and Napa, with a freshness, deliciousness and with very low added sulfites to boot. “We care deeply about our community and try to make great wine and cider responsibly,” says Suzanne, “while reducing our use of resources, inputs, and waste.”
Horse & Plow w/ Suzanne Hagins @ Vine St. Friday, March 28th

We're celebrating Women's History Month with a continuing spotlight on some of our absolute favorite women winemakers! We're so excited to host Suzanne Hagins, co-owner and winemaker of Horse & Plow Wines, for a tasting here at Vintage Berkeley Vine street!
Suzanne runs Horse & Plow, a small, family winery based in Sebastopol, with her partner Chris Condos. “All of our grapes are grown organically, both for higher quality and the environmental benefits,” Suzanne says, adding, “We also make cider, which helps preserve local orchards and agricultural diversity in our area”.

You probably know we're huge fans of Suzanne and Chris' wines, and are so happy to host Suzanne for a tasting of five new releases! Come meet Suzanne, chat about organic viticulture and taste their Draft Horse white blend, their lip smacking rose, the new vintage of Cabernet Sauvignon and more!
