Some winemakers are sparklier than others
There's a revolution afoot in Californian sparkling wine: no longer seeking only to emulate Champagne, winemakers are leaning in to a vision of Californian effervescence, and letting the sunshine shine on through.
At the forefront of this movement? You'll find Carboniste winemakers Dan and Jackie Person... and tomorrow at Vine Street, the DRC-trained, ex-Schramsburg and Larkmead enologist himself (Dan) will be in the house to pour you the lineup!
Don't try this at home
Come try 6 (!!) bottles of maximally vibrant bubbles: Albariño! An undisgorged Pet Nat of Pinot Grigio! A Pinot/Chardonnay blend (a la that place in France that does that!) A Blanc de Noirs! And not one, but two Rosés!
