On Thursday, we're traveling back to our roots with a special tour of Georgia's 8,000-year-old winemaking tradition. We’ll be opening unique, qvevri-fermented wines alongside modern takes on ancient techniques. ("Qvevri" refers to the country's famous earthenware vessels.) Whether you like wines on the cleaner side or are looking for some funk, this tasting will have a bit of everything—peppery reds, crisp mineral whites, and the amber (orange) wines for which Georgia is still world-famous. Six wines total for only $15. This is a great way to explore what Georgian wines are all about, and to learn about the origins of our humble craft.
